Hi Guys,
I had a bad luck with merchantwarehouse which uses First Data as aback end processor. I would like to know what other processors are out there which are not affiliated with First Data. Doing some reasearch I found Sage Payment solution, are they indipendant from First Data? Is there other Processors in the market ?

There are a ton of merchant account providers out there that do not use First Data as a processing platform. And since rates and fees will vary from provider to provider regardless of which platform they use your best bet is to find several providers, ask them if they use First Data, and if they don't then compare their rates.
Card Service International use First Data and has a bad reputation so I recommend against them. eBay has a very competitive merchant account community which means the prices offered there are very competitive. I'd start by looking there. |

Am I the only one feeling funny about first data or they are tought with startups ? |
