Given a simple site with a dozen or so static product pages (i.e., no database, no shopping cart), and an Authorize.net account, is e-commerce possible without a shopping cart?
If e-commerce is possible with Authorize.net and without a shopping cart, is it expensive to hire someone to integrate Authorize.net into the dozen or so static pages presuming that PHP5 is available for the task?

You definitely can use Authorize.Net without a shopping cart. In fact we have several articles and blog posts covering that very topic.
You won't need to have Authorize.Net integrated in several pages, only one if it is done properly. Depending on how much work you ask the developer to do it could cost you as little as a few hundred dollars to do. |
