Hello All,

This is my first post to the forum, this is my first visit as well.... I have a question, wondering if someone can answer that??

Actually, I am using Google Checkout for sometime now, I received quite a few fraudulent charge-backs lately. I write fraudulent because I know they have made them deliberately. And yes, we provide online services to our clients. Now my question is that we don't have any money in our bank account associated with Google Checkout and we even doesn't use that Google account as well as bank account anymore....

I was wondering, what will Google do in this case??? How will they recover money from me? Will they go to the courts? Or report the bad credit, as they have my EIN?

Your thoughts will be highly appreciated. Thank you in advance..

I haven't used Google Checkout so it's hard to say but I would expect them to handle it like any other company would: as a bad check and they would pursue you to get the money owed to them. That probably includes going so far as to leave a mark on your credit score.

You should review your contract and see what you signed for. If you singed a personal payment guaranty then you will be repsonsible. If you signed a corporate guaranty then your company will be responsible. My best advice is read over the agreement and all other documents you signed or the terms you agreed to and then go from there.
