When looking to accept credit card payments at your business, you need to understand that your rates when you accept a Visa or Mastercard "rewards" card or "business" card will be different than when you take a "regular" Visa or Mastercard. Many business owners think they are only being charged one rate because that is all they are being told by a sales rep.

The rate percentage is higher for a rewards card and even higher for a business card.
