I am currently making the attempt to put together a few retail websites. I make some of my own products to sell as well as drop ship items from other companies. With the mass amounts of companies that are out to there to set up merchant accounts through I'm completely confused. Being a first timer at this I have no real basis for who to use & who not to. I have read the articles on here & now have a better understanding of what to look for but I'm still not sure where to start. Are there any companies that anyone here would suggest? I would rather someone give me some guidance rather than blindly choose a provider & end up sinking myself. I would really appreciate any help or suggestions. Thanks!

Sandy,
There are a lot of providers out there and most people who visit this forum will recommend themselves so getting a good unbiased review will be difficult. What I recommend doing is using our Merchant Account Comparison Worksheet to get information from at least three providers and then use our Advanced Account Comparison Calculator to see which one's rates are best for you. That's the best way to see which will be the best for you in the long run.
