Hello,

I found this site by searching for this topic. I see that your article with this title was posted a year ago. Do you have any updates on this topic . . . meaning, has anyone found a way to get Authorize.net to stop rejecting international orders that they label as AVS mismatches? This loses about 25% of our sales! Would it do any good for us to call Authorize.net? We called a year or two ago; as far as we can tell, there has been no improvement in the way they handle this situation.

If there is no good solution with Authorize.net, can you recommend another company to handle online orders? We are a small company (under 20 online orders per week) and have a shopping cart for placing orders via our company website.

The best thing you can do is not reject AVS mismatches automatically. I don't recommend doing this anyway (see: Always Decline Transactions That Fail AVS?) as AVS is not a good indicator of fraud all by itself. It's just one of many factors that needs to be considered.
